News from March 2009
March 21st - Gig Harbor Islands: A tough day. After hanging in the top 3 for most of the day, a restart about 4 miles form the finish shuffled us back to 7th in class (March is a month of 7's so far) Gary, Julie, Aubre, Thom, and Cedric came along for the ride. Unofficially, we ended up in 5th for our class in the South Sound Series, but we did secure our bottle from Kahuna for the series (Even though they won the day - and congrats to them for their class win)
March 14th - Possession Point: Weather forcast in Buenos Aires was 80 and sunny, with thundershowers in the evening. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. D. John Melchor and their families on a wonderful wedding. Oh yeah, and teh boys brough home another 7th place finish in VERY TOUGH conditions. Thanks for keeping the damages to a minimum
March 7th - Blakely Rock Seattle: Our first race in Seattle in 2009. Again, a wild weather day with heavy air at the start and light air at thefinish. We are in a tough class, and managed to pull out a 7th place . This was the first race where we kept the pressure on the Flying Tigers fior most of the race and crossed ahead of both. Thanks to Peg, Brian, Thom, Tim, and Aubre for all of the hard work
