Command Point - October 18: Breaking News - Skipper sails inteh a hole TWICE... But thanks to Aubre, Thom, Tim, and guest rock stars Tammy, Christa, and Jessica. Highlights included a good start, a great sail down Vashon Island, some great driving by first timer Jessica, and more great driving by Tammy at the finish. Lowlights....Well, there was Eric's driving....and an apparent mis-labeling of the "Clew" and "Head" on the spinnaker hoist... Thanks to the ladies who were there to save our male souls and bring home a 3rd. Great weather and a fun day!
October 25 - Windseekers "Great Pumpkin" Race: Ok, just a great way to get on the water on a spectacular fall day. It was a sunny day with enough wind to get around the short, 2-lap course. Julie did a great job driving, and Eric had a day of remembering what it is like to crew... It's a lot of work... But the day was punctuated by a first place finish in class and first to finish the race....
